Email capture with source tracking

Know what actually grows your email list.

Create simple signup forms and automatically keep the page, source, campaign, offer, and consent behind every subscriber — then follow up with campaigns and automations sent through your own mailbox, so you can see which content and channels convert, not just who signed up.

Getting started

Reporting

Most tools tell you who subscribed. Gather Sprout also tells you why.

Because source context rides with the signup, reports read from the record — which pages, forms, offers, and channels actually build your list.

This demo uses fictional data. Nothing you type is stored or submitted.

Press simulate to show what lands on the subscriber record.

Real forms attach this context automatically when capture succeeds.

Why not a normal form?

A signup form stores an address. Gather Sprout stores the address and the story.

Typical embedded form

Subscriber → email address

You know someone joined. You may not know which page, offer, or campaign earned them.

Gather Sprout

Subscriber + page + source + campaign + offer + consent + context

The signup context stays attached to the contact instead of disappearing after submission. That is signup provenance — kept from the moment capture succeeds.

How it works

Live on your site in about five minutes.

No SDK required for website embeds. One form element and a script tag from your console.

Create your form

Name the site, set consent wording, and choose which list signups belong on.

Add it to your site

Paste the embed snippet, share the hosted page, or capture via API — no build step required for embeds.

See the full signup context

Every confirmed subscriber arrives with page, source, offer, and consent attached to the record.

Follow up

Send a campaign through your own mailbox, or switch on a welcome automation for the form — templates keep the writing reusable.

One account, many sites

Two websites should never share one pile.

Each website gets its own list, consent wording, and reporting inside one workspace.

  • Each site's subscribers stay on that site's list
  • Consent wording is set per site
  • Suppressions apply across everything you own
  • Export one list or all of them

The receipt

Every signup comes with a receipt.

Know where someone subscribed, what page they were viewing, which offer converted them, which campaign brought them, which referrer sent them, and what consent they gave — captured at signup, not stitched back from analytics later.

Why signup provenance matters

Trust

Built for operators who need evidence, not slogans.

  • Workspace roles and team invitations
  • Scoped API keys and signed webhooks
  • Rate limits and allowed-origin controls on public forms
  • Consent snapshots stored with each contact
  • Suppression controls for unsubscribe, bounce, and complaint
  • Data export from your workspace
  • Support tickets answered from the console

Questions

Common questions before you start.

What is Gather Sprout?

Gather Sprout is email capture and audience software. You add an email signup form to a website with a snippet or a hosted page, confirmed signups go to the form's list, and you can follow up with campaigns and automations from the console.

How do I embed an email signup form?

Sign in, open Websites, create a form, and copy its snippet onto the page. You can also share the form's hosted signup link if you do not want to embed HTML.

What if I have more than one website?

Create a form for each signup source. Console forms receive separate lists named after the form by default; API configuration can route multiple forms to one list.

Where do the addresses go?

Confirmed signups appear in Email list and are added to the form's configured destination list. Filter by that list when you want to isolate a source; all lists remain on your Gather Sprout account.

Does Gather Sprout send campaigns?

Yes. Create a campaign in the console, pick the audience, and send it through your own connected mailbox (Gmail, Microsoft, or SMTP) with daily send caps and a consent preview before launch.

Does Gather Sprout do automations?

Yes. Automations send emails when something happens — for example a welcome sequence when someone confirms a signup on one of your forms. Templates can be shared across automations or scoped to a single form.

How do I get help?

Email [email protected] or raise a ticket from the console — contact-form and email messages all land in the same ticket queue, and replies come from [email protected] so you can reply back.

How much does Gather Sprout cost?

Starter is $9 per month and Growth is $29 per month (USD, billed monthly via Stripe). The Free plan needs no credit card.
